I was going to post this in the Worker Bee Challenge, but Cherie asked me to post it here: https://rainbowrowgraphics.com/tutorials/peacock/peacocktut.htm.

The first example below is the vector method and the second is the selection method.

The first time I did this tut, I used the selections method. Some of the selections provided with the supplies did not fit quite right, so I had to modify the selections, which I suggest you use unless you really like frustration. LOL You can get the modified selections here: https://thenewbeesplayground.com/krystuts/Peacock/PeacockSelections.zip

When I used the vector method, in Step 34, when making the feathers, I used point to point Bezier Curves (I totally suck at freehand drawing LOL)

Near the end of the tut in Step 44, after making a new Raster Layer, you will need to flood fill it with a color---the color does not matter because the filter will actually determine the final color, but you need to have a color in the layer.

If you need either of the required plugins, both can be found here: https://www.petrapsppalace.nl/images/Inhoud%20Filters.html

I hope you enjoy this tutorial. When you post your results, please tell us the method you used.

Chris
